Class Descriptions
Introductory classes
Introduce the history, timing, rhythm and basic
steps of 5 of the core ballroom dances.
American Smooth dances include Waltz,
Foxtrot &. American Rhythm dances include
Cha-Cha, Rumba & EC Swing.  Proper frame is
taught as well as basic lead and follow skills.  
6 weeks
Intermediate Levels I & II
classes continue to add to the basics learned in
Introductory  classes.  Lead & follow skills are
built upon, basic styling & technique are
introduced, as well as new steps and patterns.
6 weeks
Advanced Bronze I & II
classes would also be considered the advanced
social dance level. Higher level syllabus steps, as
well as refinement of technique will be covered. 6
weeks.
Country Dance Classes
focus on dances such as
Two Step, Night Club Two
Step and West Coast Swing.
Country classes are taught
by Lee Starr.
Private Instruction
Is available by appointment.  If you feel you need
to work on a specific dance, need choreography
for a special occasion such as a wedding, or if
you want to learn more in depth technique &
styling, one on one time with a professional
instructor may be what you need. Contact us for
rates and available times.
Performance Group
is for individuals wanting to broaden their
dance experience into choreography &
performance. The group performs at several
benefits a year to promote dance as a
positive and fun experience.  Permission of
instructor is required.
Dance Party Night
Will be on the third saturday of every month,
with others as scheduled.  Dance party
attendance is an important part of your
learning experience as you have the
opportunity to practice what you have
learned in class in a comfortable and fun
environment with your fellow students!
Secondary Dances
Such as Samba, Mambo/Salsa,
Viennese Waltz, Quickstep and
Bolero are taught in a class
focusing on that one dance,  on
a rotating basis.
